Wool is a great material to use as a cloth diaper cover over an absorbent fitted diaper or a fastened prefold because it naturally repels moisture and can be aired out between uses and used over and over again until soiled or when it begins to hold an odor. Wool is incredibly breathable and so it is a great choice for overnight and for babies with sensitive skin. Luxe Baby wool diaper covers are a pull-up style diaper cover made of wool interlock. The body is 100% extra soft merino wool and all trim is 97% wool - 3% lycra interlock blend. This wool has been processed without the use of chemicals!

These wool diaper covers have been felted to the perfect weight to keep your baby dry and wear under clothing. Soft and stretchy wool waistband and leg cuffs provide a comfortable fit for your little one. Hand-dyed with non-toxic procion dyes, Luxe Baby wool diaper covers are available in a variety of beautiful colours. Color selection will vary from each shipment due to the hand-crafted nature of each diaper cover, and trim colors will vary from solid (same colour as body) to a coordinating colour (different than that of body). As each shipment is different we are unable to provide an exact colour choice at time of ordering.

Washing your Luxe Baby Wool Covers

Because Luxe Baby wool diaper covers are dyed with bright and vibrant colours (this is what makes cloth diapering FUN!) we suggest testing for colorfastness before using. It is recommend that any new wool diaper covers are washed and lanolized at least once before use. You may also wish to soak your new diaper cover in a solution of vinegar and water before lanolizing to help set the colours. After your vinegar soak, rinse your wool diaper covers under flowing water that is room temperature. Rinse and rinse some more until there is no dye coming out. After you've finished rinsing, you can follow with your regular lanolizing routine.

Don't forget your Eucalan Wool Wash and Lanolin! It is recommended that your new Luxe Baby wool diaper cover is washed and lanolized at least once before use.
