The UpMama baby slings signature fabric is light and breathable cotton sateen (97% cotton), a tightly woven fabric that is both strong and silky soft. The 3% spandex, running the width of the fabric only, allows for just enough "give" to mold to you and your babies body for the ultimate in comfort.  The designer print pockets are decor weight cotton or cotton/blended.

The UpMama Average size baby sling will fit the average caregiver. The UpMama sling will still function correctly if it is a bit too small and, to a lesser degree, a bit too big. It is best to err on the small side, so if you are trying to decide between two sizes, choose the smaller of the two. The placement of the curved seam and the overall length will change but as long as the seam is not up on your back or threaded through the rings, the sling will still function. Ideally, the curved seam will be between your side and your bellybutton and land somewhere on your baby's body.
